This event is open to all abilities, whether you are excited to learn or you are a practicing artist excited to share. SOMA Breath Workshops with Sarah
SOMA Breath is a transformative technique including breathwork, healing music and visualization meditation. We will discuss the science of breathwork, the benefits you can gain from practicing it, even the similarities in effects to psychedelics. Then we will launch into an Energized Meditation routine which consists of various movements (ecstatic dance, "superbrain yoga," shaking), chanting and SOMA Breath's signature breathwork routine. This breathwork is super powerful and includes rhythmic breathing (breathing in beats to trypnaural music available only from SOMA Breath), and breath holding with the goal of achieving a deep meditative state as well as physical and mental health benefits from a brief hypoxic (lower oxygen) state.
